Memory Stick Pro HG
SanDisk are helping Sony develop the next generation of their Memory Stick card format, the Memory Stick Pro HG. With up to a healthy 32GB capacity, as well as a maximum data transfer rate of 480 Mbps, the Pro HG should be very interesting indeed.
At the moment the Pro HG is still a spec, and Sony hasn't said when they're likely to bring this to market. It has said, however, that it'll begin offering licenses in January 2007 to companies looking to work with the new product.
