Daily puzzles
It seems (according to a new study) that a regular dose of games and puzzles can help keep your mind healthy. This is a situation in which the answer is common sense, however it could take another decade of research to determine exactly why.
If anyone's looking for someone to test the long-term effects of a daily dose of crosswords, let me know.
